Cassper Nyovest has spoken out and explained his #JustBuyATicketBroer response to fellow rapper AKA.

In an interview on Real Goboza, Cassper said that he didn’t get why AKA was offering to perform at his gig as the two weren’t that close.

“Because I felt like it’s over now, its boring. Every time I do something his name has to come up, so I was like, ‘I’m over that’ and I moved on. Then he comes along, a few days before the show, and says whatever he says and adds that I need to give him a million rand to come and perform at the show… first of all, I never asked you to come and perform,” he said.

Earlier this month, Cassper let Mzansi know that his upcoming gig #FillUpFnbStadium has made a hole in his pocket and has left him broke. He admitted that he needed R15 million to finance the gig but he didn’t have the funds. Celebs rallied together to help the Doc Shebeleza hitmaker by buying tickets for the show and giving them to loyal Cassper Nyovest fans.

But one celeb had a different plan in mind. AKA took to Twitter and told users that he would be more than willing to help Cassper by performing at the gig.

While some fans thought his offer was a great one, others couldn’t understand why AKA would want to help Cassper, as the two aren’t the best of friends.

AKA asked users to help get the message to Cassper, hoping that he could help make Cassper’s gig a success.

But Cassper kindly declined Super Mega’s offer, saying if he wants to help he should just buy a ticket like everyone else.
